Fender Stratocaster
Graphic Arts
Shown here is an exact 1/4 scale replica of a 1954 Fender Stratocaster. It is completely made by hand. The body and neck are made of wood, and all metal and other fittings were specially fabricated by me. It was completed as part of a feasibility study for a project which would have included a more extensive collection of miniature guitars showcasing classics from the 1950's. As it stands, it is truly a one-of-a-kind.
All pages in this portfolio were done in Photoshop. Some elements of these pages (such as the "Classic Guitars" logo and the guitar display cases in this section) were scanned from old-school pen and colored- pencil drawings. Many other elements, such as the composite of the conceptualized model display case on the Space Needle Observation Deck, and fake magazine covers in this section, were created entirely within Photoshop.
Recently I edited two relatives into a photo of the Bushes poseifying with two visitors. The relatives were, and were not amused. This superpower is a little scary, really.
