Lobbies and other interiors are often a main focus of an architect's design. Visualization of interior spaces and the creation of attractively ergonomic human environments are extremely important not only to interior designers and space planners but also to developers and their prospective tenants. In the case of the “Atrium” building, the model was a sales tool for pre-leasing interior office spaces months before the project actually broke ground.
Landscaping is a creative element that is just as important to the success of a model as the rendering of the main structures. Through the years I have worked on everything from “master plan” retail and industrial models, residential tract projects, resort and recreational properties, amusement parks and golf courses, virtually everything from the mountains, to the prairies, to the oceans white with foam . . . getting carried away - sorry.
